Pros & Cons

Pros

Easy to install & works well. Very easy to setup. Fast shipping, fantastic item.

This thing absorbs about 95% of the vibration moving up through the bag. Dampens the sound very well. It works will to relieve some of the force. It helps create a quieter workout environment.

The weight of the bag puts just enough tension on the spring so it separates a hair at rest, and then still has enough springiness to take the force off the ceiling joists. Used to attach a kick bag to a 5m high barn roof.

Built really well, just the spring but works great with a 100 lbs bag. Had done both for my 100lbs heavy bag, and aqua heavy bag. Works well with 100lb bag.

Used it with the meister heavy bag ceiling bracket. We have this mounted to the ceiling attaching a 200lb bag. In conjunction with that mount, this spring works perfectly for my heavy bag.
