When other companies fail me, meinl always saves the day at great prices. It has yet to disappoint. Way beyond my expectation.

Cons

Will have to spend approx $41 just for bag. Not worth it for that $. Ka and tek are much easier to hit the ka and tek.

It feels very nice and the quality of the aluminium and the shapes are very good

The hand made ornaments are good and the quality of the sound is great especially the dum

The pictures dont do it justice nor the sound quality

I have received a thick cardboard box with the doumbek wrapped in a plastic protection bag

My teacher was impressed with the sound as am i and the price

And the price is deffinetely times less that the high quality provided

Shipping

The extra head that was included got bent a bit in shipping but i think it will be okay

Packaging/appearance

This drum is very nice but the packaging was horrible

Competitiveness

I bought it for me as a beginer for christmans present and i am far more astonished than i have expected

I dont think you could find a better drum for the price
