Normal process is to completely remove the detachable part of the case and store it in your bag or have it hanging off of the camera

Lastly in order to change your batterymemory card you have to remove the case completely

I shouldve done more research because now i have to remove and unscrew the entire bottom portion whenever i need to access the battery

It fits well on xt20 but i dont know it the screw on the bottom can handle the camera in the long run

I imagined myself using this case as a compact way to safely pack my camera around then just leave the top shell portion at home base or keep the whole thing on to prevent my camera from carelessly knocking around

The only thing is you have to remove the base each time you want to charge the battery
