Seriously for the price you cant beat it and just because you pay alot for the g7x doesnt mean you have to pay an additional ransom to get good protection

There is one valid criticism that the lcd screen cant be exactly fold flush with the camera i can see that but i think it is minor i dont see what difference does it make the gap is tiny there is no strain on the screen no chance of something going wrong

Yes you have to figure out how the straps should be looped through the plastic clasp otherwise if there is not enough friction the camera might slide out under its own weight

And last but not least imho the case adds to overall ergonomics of the camera handling in number of ways
