Like other leather camera cases the bottom portion attaches via a screw and there are no holes to removeinsert a memory card nor an opening to get to the battery compartment

Because of this the open hook continuously snags the camera strap which is annoying and created a nice hole in the strap to keep snagging on

The bottom of the case is fitted to the base of the camera where the tripod would be attached
