Unfortunatly it does not acommodate an auto selfretaining lens cap that opens and closes automatically when the camera is turned on off

I have a smaller point n shoot camera casio which is much faster taking out but the pictures dont have the quality or capability of my lx100

Also i can see it getting a little annoying having to take it off everytime you have to either charge the battery or remove the sd card

Incidentally with this case i dont try to use the lens cap in fact i seem to have left it home in the united states

Didnt see any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers just be sure to flip the cover down pivoting on the lower button for convenient access

Edit there is only one flaw ive found this product blocks the focusing switch on the left of the lens base making it very difficult to toggle the af af macro and mf switch with this case on

I would have given this product 5 stars if that was it but because of this case the lens of my brand new camera got scratched

The case is so snug that every time i pull it off the camera lens cover pops off and i have to gently make sure the cover doesnt scratch the lens
