Kailyn and daxton meet again as they are needing a trust lawyer for his younger sister. Years later, dax becomes his little sister’s guardian. Emme is my favorite character in the book.
Helena always brings the heat and i loved the slow sensual burn between dax and kailyn. I remember falling in love withkailyn & dax &. Anticipating when they would get together.
Meet cute is fun, heartbreaking and adorable. This is where the story gets really angsty and definitely had me tearing up.
Both dax and his mother are lawyers.

Just a little note in civil cases the parties are called plaintiff and defendant only in criminal cases the parties are called prosecutor and defendant

I did laugh at the fact that daxter was a teen heartthrob that kailyn fangirled over opens the book and feel the secondhand embarrassment and we see through the book that the fangirl is still there
