Pros
The light is super bright. It lights up with a soft blue light with a digital read out.
Cleaning is easy as well, though i have only rinsed the canister portion with a bleach solution. I just wipe it off every few weeks with a sponge and it stays like new.
It takes some few days to put the tank upside down on the base without spilling the water. The tank will fit under my work's water filter, which means easy distilled water at hand, without having to lug water * in from home.

It is whisper quiet - most others make a loud whirring noise. I'm a light sleeper, but the noise from this doesn't bother me as i'm falling asleep. It has 2 speeds, but it's a tad noisy on the highest althought that would make it reach further.
Cons
Do not bother with this ineffective device. Contacted medisana and not response. I e-mailed amazons return address and they sent me a new one. I have to conclude this is a piece of junk.
It is a humidifier that does not humidify the air. The vapor emits horizontally, but then immediately falls downward. This humidifier quit working in less than 2 months.

The medisana ultrasonic personal humidifier seems to be well designed
We use filtered water from our refrig
My wifes sinuses do not like that
In a pinch i can use a 20oz bottle of the distilled water that i usuallly have sitting around bcoz get in packs of 20 to drink
