For the price and no subscriptions it does a lot. I'm not sure why people are complaining about this converter box. For me, this does everything i hoped it would.

The remote control is a bit odd, but it integrates with my logitech universal so everything is fine.

Panasonic hd projector. Works great and even better if you use a hdmi cable to go from the box to the tv. It tunes from channel to channel faster than my expensive smart tv too. Great unit for programmed recording of over the air broadcasts.

The audio quality is useless; the volume fades out and in constantly. The mediasonic tech support is just as bad as their defective product. Maddeningly frustrating to use.

Problem; the signal levels drops so i loose several channels. I believe it is a defect and have written to the supplier for instructions. There are all kinds of complaints about the same problem, something about a leaky something on the control board....  Read More

The remotes * are unlit and tiny. If left on awhile, the interface slows so much it takes 10-20 seconds for any button push to register.
