Pros
It works well. It takes a bit of patience to set up (as the timing of the selections need to be right on) it has a ‘sleep mode’ which is handy. It's basically plug and play.
A minor problem is in the front door. Never had a failure. If the new one does as well as the old one i'll be more than pleased.
Cons
Worked well for about 5 weeks. Copied jpeg files to drive and some jpegs are corrupted with colored bands in the pic. Spend a little more for a qnap das.

It was reliable enough on my windows home server that i added a 4 bay mediasonic toaster for coping data backup acronis etc
So when i needed extra storage i decided to try thje 4 bay proraid and do raid5

Thats what i put on them 4x12tb for a total of 45tb raid0 after format in windows ntsf format
