Unless you have a full time helper to wash everything after each pumping session its ridiculous to think that a mother could get by with only the initial two valves and membranes

First of all they are a pain in the butt to clean

Then after you pull them off even carefully and put them on again about a hundred times you realize there is a break in the membrane and have to buy a new set anyways

Not to mention the time you have one slip out of your fingers while all soaped up and see its go down the garbage disposal drain
