Pros

This newer model packs all the same performance in a much tinier package. The parts are big enough that i don't have to worry about losing when i wash them, and it’s very easy to assemble.

The sonata is quieter than the pump in style advanced. It's so comfortable that i usually have to do compression and keep squeezing to get that amount with spectra. For occasional pumping it has been great for me.

Sonata has a touch screen that is user friendly and lights up. It has bluetooth connectivity which we haven't checked out yet, but think it's for tracking. The mymedela app is very underrated.

It is less bulky than spectra but heavier in weight. It is very quiet. The design is sleek and it runs very quietly.

Sonata's pumping speed is equivalent to symphony (which i use 50% of the time when at home) it’s much more effective for me than the pisa was, maybe not quite as effective as the symphony. Affordability and portability made the trade-off worth it. Thi...  Read More

Quality

The parts are easy to cleaneasily replaced

Strong pump and easy to pick up and walk around with

Final off thing the numbers on the screen are sort of broken and always have been

Unfortunately after 2 babies and 3 and a half years breastfeeding and pumping between them she no longer holds a charge

Price

This pump is a little pricy but worth every penny in my opinion

It takes a little patience sometimes but its overall very worth the price to me

I had buybuybaby price match amazon to knock it down from 359 to 266

The symphony is simply a multi user pump which is why it is used in hospitals and cost 2500

Packaging/appearance

My box instead came with 21mm and 24mm flanges

You will definitely see the thing come on with call on the display indicating its broken and you need to call customer service

Competitiveness

It’s very quiet in comparison to what i’ve used in the past and is more efficient

Definitely compares to the ones at the hospital

It gave me so much more output than the pisa which didnt work well for me

But definitely smaller and more compact than many other popular choices out there
