Pros
The pressure gauge is a good replacement for a dead pressure gauge. It has a turnable dial to track how clogged filter media is and is more affordable. Easy to install and easy to read. Good value for the price.
Cons
This gauge has condensation in it after the first 4 days. Fogged up within minutes indicating a faulty seal. Gauge is off by 10 psi.

The body of the gauge was too large to fit in the indented area on my hayward filter housing without first removing the outer dial cover but that was easy enough to take off and reinstall

The gauge should be hand tight only but if a bit more pressure is required to remove the old one then a 14mm wrench fits just about okay

Its a bit too small of scale for normal water pressure so i would recommend a unit that goes to 100psi

The old one had been pecked to pieces by birds who somehow love to peck at it to the point where the plastic cover fell off exposing the needle and making the gauge useless

I just took the other one off with a wrench put a little teflon plumbers tape on the threads and screwed this one in
