Indeed most of these things crumble at half their rating and cause unacceptable noise over 50 if they survive it

Noise increase was barely perceptible on a sensitive hf receiver a few feet away with both outputs at 100

There was also an unusual rattle which was not the terminal screws or the plastic part that protects the bottom of the board it was something else

All of that combined makes me think it could have been a prior return so i did not connect it up to test

Mine made a noise which i could not locate the source of visually but it sounded like a loose screw and none of the external screws were loose

Update i received the replacement which appears new no bent ears and there was no paper docs of any kind in the box so i guess that is normal for these
