Pros
In the morning its full. Shifting 4l a day with is and maintaining humidity less than 50%. We have it on practically all day in the winter.
Washing also dries faster with laundry mode, although the fan could be a bit loud even at the lowest speed. It runs quiet and has a number of useful settings including a maximum setting for drying clothes in a small space.
Cons
Machine has a piercing beep that sounds when any button is pressed. It still leaks water due to condensation in the opening where the water container sits.
We contacted meaco and a rather disinterested sounding man told me i would have to pay £70 for a courier to pick it up and then have it returned to me.
Customer service sounds like a racket to me. Just not financially or ecologically sustainable.

Although we didint have a massive damp problem we were getting areas of black mould especially in the spare bedroom

Eventually we realised it was most likely caused by drying clothes in that room during winter months

Increasing the heat in the room didnt do much so we decided to get a dehumidifier to see if that would help

We only use it when drying clothes and it has had a big affect not only in that room but the whole house which smells cleaner and fresher

I could hang clothes inside the house without worrying about damp and clothes smelling off due to poor drying

There is no permanent heating and there are often wet dog towels and damp clothing and footwear
