Pros
The google pixel 3a is a great compact camera for macro photography. Inch screen, so it's easy to see what you're photographing. It's a great way to cheaply use a regular lens for macro work. Great value and great tool for taking macro shots.
Works well with nice closeup work. Well done. I find it useful.
The tubes have connector pins in them, enabling auto focus in the camera. They merely allow the lens to focus closer.
Sturdy and stiff on to the camera body, even with two tubes same time. Good built quality, fits smooth and stable.

Auto exposure works and auto focus works so long as i am in the 25 50 mm focal length range 50 100 mm for full frame 35mm cameras which is a normal to shorttelephoto lens length

More than shorttele length and auto focus is unreliable simply because most of the time you are too close to even manual focus anyway

Wa lenses have a natural close focusing capability anyway so adding an extension tube is likely to require that your lens almost touch the subject and that is an uncomfortable distance from which to work
