Pros & Cons
Pros
This appears to be a very well researched and written book on global organised crime. This is a riveting, spine-chilling, brilliantly researched account of how organised crime functions.
Misha glenny is a hero to experience, write and survive this lot. It is all a terrible tragedy, especially for those who are trafficked or otherwise exploited by criminal gangs.
Cons
The author is clearly a capable investigative reporter but he might have been better advised to hand over the task of writing a book to someone with the flair of a thriller writer. Not very well-written.
