Cutting cellular core pvc is a breeze. There is just a little deformation before the sharp blade begins to slice, and then it regains the perfect round shape. Love the deburring feature. Its not china junk.

Dont use it to cut the really thin plastic tubular pipe though used for drain tail pieces i tried it and it cracked the pvc
