Dont know whether it is a product fault but the plastic stem for screw in middle of waste outlet seemed too long and so waste wouldnt sit flush in sink when trying to fit

I also discovered that the old unit was not slotted but there is an overflow on the sink so had that ever been called upon it would not have drained

I advise care when tightening as it is only a plastic thread you are putting up against no brass inner which would be a potential improvement

Found this ordered it fitted in 5 mins no silicone nothing just sealed with what was supplied a gift from heaven

The threads on the existing standard waste were gummed up with plumbers putty
