Pros
The anti-reflective coating on them prevents any disruption to the images. Metal against metal is typically smoother for attaching and removing a filter due to less friction on the surfaces. It protects my lens and doesn't interfere in any way.
Waka 82mm mc uv filter fits perfectly. Also has a cool gold ring complimenting my g series lenses. Fit is perfect for my canon eos t5i.
Cons
Manufacturer needs to widen their machining tolerances a bit on the thread. They are very rough to screw on to the filter, and none of them would screw all the way into the lenses. The filter looks good, operates very well, but distorts the images and... Read More
Dust clings to the glass despite numerous applications of cleaning solution and wiping with microfiber cloth. Out of focus areas are much more jittery with the filter on.

Provides protection for my lens great price
Fortunately i found these waka filters and the price was irresistible so i tried them out and got some of the 52mm ones
If youre looking for good low cost uv filters that add very little length to your lens these are great

I always use multicoated filters and i prefer those with coatings that are easy to clean and smudge resistant
As good as the major brands but with a great price
Im not making any money off my images so no reason to shell out for the 5075 competition

There are brands of filters that are long respected that sell for not that much money

But they generally have very unsophisticated coatings something that particularly on zoom lenses with many elements tend to hurt image contrast add ghosts and sometimes even effect apparent sharpness
