Little soft but thats probably not the metals fault just need to make sure youre banging it straight on and not at an angle since the metal will pucker and ding

For others needing to do this loosen the nuts until theyre flush with the end of the stud then give them a few good raps with a 3 lb hammer and a brass drift youll see the cone washers come free
