It seems to be moreso comparable to the component cables. Works on my 1440p lenovo curved monitor. Looks like a genuine nintendo part (if they made one for hdmi) that matches the wii console.

I have two wiis on two tvs the other one is using the hyperkin cable and find that theyre very similar in quality

If i had to nitpick id say that the colors and contrast feel a bit muted compared to the other adapters which honestly is a quick fix with your tvmonitor setting
