Pros & Cons
Pros
Pump works directly hooked up to my battery. Installed deep into boat hull but not problem with bilge just with location. I'm using a dual setup in a diy pontoon boat that's crafted from 2 open canoes as pontoons pushed around by a 5 hp honda.
Cons
The float lifts up but doesn't always click the motor on when in the lifted position. Pumps water but the auto-bilge feature, which is why i bought it, stopped working after 1 month. Had to rush to shore not even pumping.
These pumps are worthless and a waste of time, money and stress. Stay away from this piece of junk.
Highlights
Quality
I am delighted with this pump and the security that it provides me
Price
If they last more then the rest of the summer then i’ll be happy since the price was very inexpensive
Frankly i could have used the smaller model but the difference in price was negligible
Competitiveness
Easy to install cant go wrong for the price
Looks like the one at local store for 12 the price
Back in 2018 i also installed a fancy rule pump which broke after a month
