I took the lift part of this one off and replaced the bad one without having to weld anything

I even had the trailer slide forward about 50 on the ice and snow and it was stopped when the jack and left tires came into a snowbank

Well as my luck would have it the hole of the jack was slightly smaller than the hole of my plate so i had to enlarge the hole slightly to make if fit

As it clearly states in the description this is a weld on so you need a welder
