Pros
All gyre units are pricey… however after struggling with my icecap for years… the parts were wearing down faster than i could replace them. It handles anything that can make it through the grill without issues.
Cons
Maxspect won’t warranty these defective pumps for nothing. Just give you a generic response saying they’ll give you 10% off the purchase of a replacement motor. This is ridiculous.

At 10 i cant even hear it 30 is a noticable but quiet buzz

If you have a peninsula tank like i have this is the powerhead for you with all the different settings options it moves a ton of water clear down to the opposite end of the tank and i have a 180g revolves around sweeping detritus in its wake and providing that rippling surface water for gas exchange and increased ph clearly value for moneycon its a magnet for algae buildup and require regular maintenance
