Pros

Fired right up with a squirt of fuel down the * and picked up with fuel pump. Car runs like a champ now, as long as it lasts i'll reccomend.

I am pleasantly surprised, this thing is awesome! Pretty awesome to me i was stoked.

Comes packaged well-carb inlet has a cover to keep debris out, and wrapped in plastic bag. Comes with an extra idle and main jet, which is nice when trying to dial things in. We'll see how gaskets/seals/bushings hold up over time.

Cured my idle problems. Starts, idles and zooms. Tiny adjustments on idle mixture & it runs great!

Cons

I know chinese carbs are finiky at 6000ft elevation but this is just nuts. No papers in box at all.

Idle was set a little fast, but easy to set.

I installed it and the only adjustment i needed to do, was a 1/2 turn on the fast idle adjuster screw.

Packaging/appearance

A*+ for the packaging and for the good quality.

Ran perfect right out of the box

Did not expect it to run and idle right out of the box.

Competitiveness

My wife’s car is only driven a few times a year and has a ton of miles, so we were willing to give it a shot for the price.

I have a 1973 super beetle with a stock 1600 engine.

These carbs are great there's no need to rebuild your carburator no more with prices like this
