Pros & Cons

Pros

Water bottle pouch is great for edc in town or on a backpack in the mountains. It has a nice snug fit when attached to molle.

The pouch is big enough to hold a 48oz hydro flask bottle. The yeti is wider than the hydro flask by 3/4 of an inch. I have a 32oz yeti rambler and it expands to fit it perfectly.

It has ykk zippers and appears to have good stitching. It is expandable but would have preferred instead of a zipper expansion maybe elastic and drawstring like on the older maxpedition packs.

Cons

The nalgene goes but very tight, too the point that i was forcing the zipper badly. And then it's too tight to remove it apart from unzipping it again.

Price

Maxpedition has a reputation for quality worth the cost

Packaging/appearance

I love how it zips up and is out of the way

It does ha e a bit of the dorsel fin effect but compared to a pouchbag this is out of the way

Competitiveness

The pouch is big enough to hold a 48oz hydro flask bottle

I have a 32oz yeti rambler and it expands to fit it perfectly

Although a 40oz will fit it will not sit deep enough in the pocket

The zipper tapers the usable space making the last several bottom inches of the pocket unusable for a water bottle as large as a 40oz
