A new house i purchased was equipped with tankless gas water heaters which apparently require the gas to be run at a higher than normal pressure

All the existing appliances had additional regulators installed on their lines but i had a new line run for a gas grill and when i tried to use it without a regulator the grills safety valve shut and the grill would not operate
