It is unshielded and the cable sleeve is the cheap plastic straw feeling stuff not the thicker rubbery texture of higher end stuff good enough for what it is but i wouldnt trust it against much abrasion or to be under foot not that its plenum rated anyways

Had to run a line with this directly from the modem the signal being too weak in that part of the house
