My hub works with smart home and tuya, but not this maxico app and not with this sensor. I'm very, very disappointed.

Works well with our home smart system was easy to install seems reliable
Setup was fairly straightforward and this is a small lightweight device which i had no issues setting up with the included app
I was unaware that the device only functioned pair to a specific hub and was under the impression that alexa home would be suffice
The app was relatively simple to gather but i ultimately couldnt utilize it without something like zigbee apparently

Theres nothing like having the peace of mind that the door window hasnt been opened whether youre just paranoid about something coming inside or someone you were trying to keep out of that room as entered it being notified or not notified is an absolute blessing

Hold the reset button for several seconds to enter a pairing mode

Installed diagonally since the door frame wasnt evenly aligned with the door

The device is powered by a cr2032 battery and you have to slide the back cover off and pull the plastic tab before it can be paired

It remains to be seen how the battery life will fair but typically in similar sensors i get about year out of cr2032
