Pros

It is adequate for the edc task and all in all is a fine knife, especially for the price. It is a lot better than some knives that cost twenty or thirty bucks! Perfect marlinspike, nice cutoff blade.

Maxam sailor's tool has a stainless-steel handle with a 2-inch ruler on one side, and a 5-centimeter ruler on the other. Between the camillus gi utility knife and the maxam sailor's tool, there can be no comparison.

The blade is sharp enough to shave with. Blade is sharp and marlin spike has a nice, usable taper.

The marlinspike can be used in conjunction with the tool's shackle key to unscrew threaded shackles. The loop on the end is handy for hanging it, as is the bit on the other side for light prying, separating, or undoing screws.

Cons

The quality of this knife is disappointing. It is stamped as stainless steel when it is not. A higher quality knife lasts longer and costs less per use.

I like the maxam sailors multiuse knife with the exception of not having locking blade and locking marlin spike

Given the low price i have felt free to abuse it

If you are actually shipping out on a 34tall ship34 i would suggest a higherend and more expensive version

Also while sharp out of the box the cutting edge leaves something to be desired but easily remedied

There is also a 2inch ruler on one side and a 3centimeter ruler on the other side very handy

It has more than enough going for it for the price

As this is a cheap multitool its not the finest but reasonable for the cost
