The slo mo shooting in this game is epic. It has non stop action, suspense, intrigue and adventure. The compelling dialogue and engaging story is triple a indeed.

If you've never played max payne, i think this would be a good starter for you. Came at a decent time frame.

The game is repetitive, too many long cut-scenes, too much of the same. The story is boring. Then towards the end there is a plot twist that makes no sense at all.

If you are in the middle of a cutscene, your only option is to pause. I guess this effect is trendy again and if used sparingly might add a nice cinematic quality, but instead it's overused to the point of annoyance.

Many times you get stuck on wall cover and the only way to get off is to roll out into gunfire, which usually results in death and having to restart the mission. If you die over and over in a certain spot, the game is nice enough to grant you painkill...  Read More

A tiny white dot reticule makes aiming incredibly difficult. A grenade launcher that farts out grenades 10 feet in front of you instead of shooting them 30-40 feet ahead. Hiding behind cover defeats the main shoot-dodge gameplay of a max payne game.
