We did get a new tv so i am not sure if it is the tv or new cable but the picture is very clear

The only thing i would say they need to add is something in the description that says its unidirectionalone way or something like that because like many others i thought the cable was broken and i was about to start the refund process when i decided to read through everything one more time and noticed that the cable had source on one end and display on the other and only worked one way

Because the hdmi format is actually quite bad it is not recommended on typical cables over distances of 50

Except the cable box is only putting out an electronic signal and the tv is only receiving an electronic signal

I received the generous 25 foot length which i greatly appreciated for a device i was using this with the hdmi cord i was trying to use with it was too short by several feet and i gave up in frustration trying to make it work with how i had my equipment configured
