Bottom line im happy with the stainless

Not only by sight but by handling can you tell the immense quality of this product

Its hard to describe this but lets say after using it a few times i can see why people value mauviel copper cookware

However there is shipping in both directions and due to the weight shipping may cost more than the tinning

I received a cheap used saucepan inside mauviel packaging

I felt that if im buying high end cookware to use getting the thinner copper was false economy
