After i installed it it would randomly stop moving water it would try to cycle but stop due to presumably thermal overload

Unplugging and removing the pump forcing it to spin a few times by hand reinstalling it would make it work for a few more hours

New aquascape pumps are pricey and only last 2 seasons

Hopefully it will last 5 seasons not 2 but at this price wont be as bad as an aquascape failure for cost

One note the filter cage on one end of the motor may cause some to have to move the pipe hole in your skimmer to make it work
