The zipper runs along the short length of pillow not the longer side and there is no zipper cover

The last time i washed these my pillowcase this protector and the pillow were all stained from what i can only guess is a product i have been putting on my face that is leaking through

I was sad to pull the pillowcase off and see the marks on the protector as well as on the pillow
