I noticed that several others who’ve left reviews have complained about the separate length of cable which plugs into the mains but they’re clearly doing something wrong

Only small gripe is that the plug in cord is a little fiddly to rewind and of course you do need to unwind the reel before plugging in as this doesnt work like a hose reel

The additional 3 metres if cord on the outside is helpful although the outer reel section would be better if it remained in place rather than spinning with the main cable reel

Good quality but design flaw where recoiling the cabe means the plug section on the side spins is a shame

Anyway it’s great to have highly visible cable toddlers abound where i live and the waterproof socket gives me reassurance when charging the car equally if i were that way inclined plugging in xmas lights outside with the reel safely indoors

You need to unwind it to where you want before plugging it in
