Pros

The temperature and timing control is a great feature to have. It works great at higher temps. Would definitely recommend if looking for an electric *.



Cons

The displayed temperature reading is 25 degrees too high. I need to crank it up pass 200 then it starts to smoke. The control board is a weak link. Disappointing after only purchasing it in december.

    A little finicky controlling temp

    Temp needs to be above 200f to get the chips smolding a lot of my fish recipes are at 180f

    When i have it above 200 to get the wood smoking triedi opening the top vent to lowertemp but that doesnt seem to be effective

    Maybe i had a relatively low expectation for the smoker as i was about to smoke some chinese sausages in the winter and salmon every fall
