For everything masterlock did right it is disappointing to see a 50 mm padlock with such a thin 8mm shackle

Its very important that the lock doesnt get wet inside and freeze otherwise the spare gas would be useless

Odd that this is listed as a new item but the packaging my lock came in was a prelabeled plastic bag for ready to ship and the lock was inside what appears to be the original packaging the tight item fitting plastic packaging that had obviously been cut at to get the lock out previously

It usually needs a shot of graphite lubricant in the fall but with that bit of maintenance it has performed flawlessly and i have no reason to think it won’t keep working

I bought this lock to install on a shed in the backyard and wanted protection from the elements so the locking mechanism doesnt seize up
