Let me start by saying that anytime I spend more than $500+ on a pair of headphones, I expect them to not only check all the boxes, but outperform in most areas. And while they perform extremely well in many areas, they just have too many drawbacks to justify the $500 price tag.PROS:+Sound quality is perfect. I'm not an audiophile, so most of my preferences are fairly subjective, but the MW65's really bring audio to life. When listening to music, instrument separation is clear, music is punchy, bright, and immersive. I love being able to hear the textures and nuances of different instruments that I wasn't able to before.+Build quality and design are superb. Master and Dynamic has outdone themselves by designing a headphone that looks and feel premium, using cowhide and lambskin leather, along with aluminum, while also keeping the weight low. These are the lightest pair of headphones I have ever tried, while also being the most premium looking.+No buggy apps. Hooray! there are no annoying half-baked apps that are a pain to pair and use.+The comfort on these is excellent. There is a moderate amount of clamping force, but any pressure from the clamp is negligible due to the thick, leather earpads. They are some of the best earpads I have seen on any headphone, matched only by some of B&O's headphones. The headband, while not the thickest or softest, offers enough support. The only issue with comfort that I've experienced with these is the interior space of the earcups. Because they are so narrow, some part of my ear is always in contact with the earpads. If you have hypersensitive ears, this might be something to take note of.CONS-Max volume is very low. I typically listen to my music at 50-60% on most headphones. However, for this pair, I find myself consistently dragging the volume all the way to 80-90%. For those in noisy environments or who like to listen to their music at very loud volumes, these just won't cut it.-Battery life is around 20hrs according to my testing. Not bad, but nowhere near the promised 24hrs. Fast charging is nice, though.-ANC is practically nonexistent. Don't even bother switching to low ANC. High ANC will only block a smidge of outside sound. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR ANC. PERIOD.-The microphone performance on these is abysmally poor. It would be best for you to consider these microphones to be nonfunctional at all and simply by a plug-in boom mic if you need it for calls. Everyone that I called with these headphones have said that the audio was barely audio even at max volume, even when both of us were in completely quiet environments.-No hardshell case. Although the canvas bag provided is the best pouch I've seen offered by any manufacturer, so much of the competition offers sturdy hardshell cases that offer much better protection.All in all, I simply cannot recommend this product. While it outperforms the competition in sound quality, build, and comfort, the fact that various crucial parts of the MW65's are barely usable, prevents these from being a option at this price range.  Read Less
