Pros
Not flimsy at all, and a good value. It’s sturdy, durable and wipes off easily. Anyone who has a big parrot knows the messes they make!

Cons
The mat curls up around the edges. The other downer is that this just doesn't stay in place on low-pile carpet. Barely 2 months and it's curled around all of the edges, just waiting to tag my toe and rip off the nail.
