I use it on a hardwood floor and it is near invisible. Bought it for underneath a large parrot cage on wheels. Relatively thick for a pvc floor mat.
It's big enough that i can scoot my chair around it. My office chair glides on it easily.

It came rolled up tightly it took 2 people to unroll it then i place 4 boxes of laminate flooring on top of it and it took 3 days to flatten out
