Pros & Cons
Pros
The mounts are thin, rotate with ease and the polarizing affect is outstanding. Marumi filters seem to have a slight warming effect on my images however it's vastly superior to the tiffen polarizer which also improved saturation.
Really quite impressed with the thing. The quality is what makes this filter rise above the other brands. This is the somewhat less expensive version of the same brand with the word super missing in the name.
The friction in the ring (so you can rotate the filter) is perfect. Thin enough to allow at least one more stacked filter without vignetting.
Easy to clean with micro fiber or squeeze bulb puffer. Works very well.
Highly recommended. Works excellent. You will not be disappointed. Recommended without reservation.
Cons
That filter cleans off nicely. It turns out that this filter yields very soft images and is virtually unusable. I'm out of nearly $70 now which would have been more useful for a hoya hd.
