Pros
The sub performs great and the sound ultra clear with plenty of bass. The sub spikes for carpet are a nice throw in to keep it in place on thicker carpet.
Martin-logan's dynamo 1000w subwoofer has a 500watts rms. The bass notes in music tracks are clean, precise and have definition. It works exactly as advertised.
My listening preferences are 50/50 music and movies down there. Blended perfectly with my definitive 1000 promonitors. Its sound is clean, smooth and loud. Anything from dub step to jazz is elevated and becomes a completely new listening experience.
Cons
Unfortunately, something in the box is loose and it sounds like the metal heat syncs on the back are going to vibrate right off the box.

Simply put in terms of price performance quality of construction this thing is built like a tank
At the msrp of 1000 well i feel bad for those folks cause this subwoofer doesn’t justify that price point
I got this ml1000 from saveonaudio liquidator save a few hundred but wait for over two weeks processing and shipping
Of course the price point of under 1000 didnt hurt either

The only draw back is the wireless transmitter consistently accepts interference and causes the sub to cut out

Remember the new sub is stiff and needs about15 to 20 hours use to sound it best

Theres only one thing id change the wireless cant be turned off and the blue blinky light on the back is quite noticeable

There is a very slight delay when the woofer awakes might be due to the wireless setup
