Pros & Cons
Pros
Taylor baby 3/4 guitar is the same size as this martin, however a little thinner in the body with a much brighter sound to it. Great starter guitar that has a rich sounds and feels comfortable to learn to play on.
The size is perfect for just messing around on the couch or travel. Perfect for small hands and beginners. Great 3/4 size guitar for little hands as well as adults.
Very pleased with this, even with its flaws. I was smitten (and still am) is awesome. Feels great.
Little martin lxk2 has a rich sound and a nice heft to it. The sound is very nice and belies its small size. It has the beautiful chime sound i've heard in other martins.
Bought this to replace my washburn rover as my beach/campfire/couch guitar. Its koa pattern and small frame makes this guitar ideal for traveling.
Cons
The wood swelled causing the bridge to delaminate. The laminate is so cheap that it looks like the wood grain was printed on. This isn’t martin craftsmanship.
