Frankly, the desktop looks like laminate material. Using the right side for a pc, but had to drill additional holes for ventilation.

It has holes on the inside and front to put wire through and you can certainly fit wires through behind the middle drawer but there is no way for them to come into the desk from the wall without having them either running across the front of the desk or running across the floor on either side of your chair
