I have a couple of small body guitars and ive always been frustrated with the boominess of the low e a and d strings

Other strings sound too bright at first sometimes such that you want to break them in or get them dirty even

Here the strings sound a little weak and daddarios would probably serve the acoustic blues player better

They dont really have enough focus and volume as single strings and make them come up a little short if one will be playing single note styles outside of bluegrass flatpicking
