Interestingly many years ago i wrote and selfpublished a short manual titled myths and misconceptions about the martial arts and selfdefense mentioning some of the same points this author has made in his book

In any case i did like most of what the author had to say about the many myths and misconceptions surrounding the martial arts and actual street combat selfdefense

I agree totally that the idea of ancient combat martial art and training knowledge is superior just because it is older is a myth
