Pros
Even just one layer gets very toasty! This blanket is fine as an additional blanket or for a pet. It's not something you'd get from pottery barn, but it does the job just as well.
Our family loves the throws made of polyester. Perfect snugness and cozy warmth when coupled with a heated mattress pad.
Not one seam is loose yet. Because it isn't slick, it is good underneath a slicker blanket to keep the slippery one on the bed. No lint issues as with many other fleece blankets.
Cons
Light weight kinda like a thick flannel bed sheet. Not furry fuzzy like polar fleece blankets.
Not worth advertised price. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing.

I personally wouldnt use it for anything other than the dogs but that is mainly because i prefer thin blankets
