The packaging is very nice and i really like the handy grommet for easy hang up. Works quickly, effectively, but only as recommended above.
Do recharge as suggested in sunlight periodically. My husband also uses one of the larger ones for his car to soak up any odors. All you have to do to'recharge' them is to lay them in the sun for few hours.
It's nearly impossible to find a product that rids shoe odors. It eliminates bad odor from the shoes. Great odor remover.

My teenage son plays lacrosse and often the combination of wet grass and sweaty feetcleats sweaty damp chest pads elbow pads and helmet gets stuffed in his bag and zipped up and forgotten about until next day which equates to an absolutely disgusting smell wafting from his bag

After every single practice they slide a couple of the small slender charcoal sleeves down into their cleats and larger ones in helmet and inside elbow gear and rest of them thrown in bag to help …

My experience is only with wool yarn and the only odor the charcoal did not cure is smoke smell from a nearby fire
